About Khaled International Schools (KiS)
Welcome to Khaled International Schools (KiS), a leading institution offering the American curriculum and the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, where “we measure success one happy learner at a time”.
Founded in 1995 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, KiS welcomes both Saudi and international students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
KiS is licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Education and accredited by COGNIA and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). As a member of the Learner’s World International Schools (LWIS) Network since 2013, KiS maintains the highest academic standards and global best practices.
Our Curriculum and Approach
At KiS Riyadh, we combine the strength of the American curriculum with the global recognition of the IB Diploma Programme.
- In high school, students follow a customized American curriculum offering flexibility and academic rigor, including Advanced Placement (AP) after school courses. KiS is also an authorized AP Exam Center, allowing students to take their exams on campus in a familiar environment.
- For Grades 11 and 12, KiS proudly offer the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP), preparing students for success at top universities worldwide (Enrollment is open for the 2026–2027 academic year).
Our learner-centered philosophy ensures every child benefits from a holistic education. We value multilingualism, offering Arabic, French, and Mandarin Chinese to better prepare students for a multicultural world.
Additionally, the school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities including music, Zumba, gymnastics, basketball and football, enhancing holistic development.

That Nurture Ambitious Learners
Girls’ School – KiS
The Girls’ School at KiS consists of four main buildings, providing a distinguished educational environment for female students:
- Block A: Dedicated to Kindergarten and Nursery students. Includes a school clinic, IT and robotics lab, library, and staff rooms.
- Block B: Serves upper elementary, middle, and high school students. Includes IT labs, science labs (biology, physics, chemistry), an advanced robotics lab, library, art room, multipurpose hall, and staff rooms.
- Block C: Serves lower elementary students. Includes classrooms, school clinic, counseling office, IT lab, art room, library, and staff rooms.
- Administration Building: Houses the Principal’s office, Academic Director’s office, reception, and HR office.
To support holistic development, the Girls’ School includes three playgrounds equipped for football, basketball, table tennis, and volleyball, along with a cafeteria and a dedicated play area for kindergarten.
Boys’ School – KiS
The Boys’ School at KiS consists of three main buildings, offering a dynamic and supportive learning environment:
Block D: Includes some high school classrooms, a prayer room, coordinators’ offices, and a cafeteria.
Block E: Includes middle and remaining high school classrooms, physics, biology, and chemistry labs, school clinic, IT and robotics labs, staff rooms, and library.
Academic Administration Building: Houses the Principal’s office, Academic Director’s office, reception, and Administrative Manager’s office.
Central Administration Building: Includes the registration office, accounting department, cashier’s office, and school library.
The Boys’ School also features two playgrounds equipped for football, basketball, and volleyball, reflecting KiS’s commitment to nurturing students and developing their full personalities.
KiS – Boys’ School
KiS Boys’ school is comprised of three main buildings, creating a thriving educational environment:
Bloc D caters to the Junior School section, and includes ICT labs, an arts and crafts room, an infirmary, staff rooms and a canteen.
Bloc E is dedicated to Middle and High School sections, and includes a physics, biology and chemistry lab, as well as a library.
The School Principal, Academic Director, Front Desk Officer, Director of Administration, Accounting Department and Cashier office, as well as the Bookstore, are located in the Administration building.
As part of KiS’ commitment to nurturing the whole student, the boys’ school has a dedicated playground, equipped for football, basketball and volleyball.

In line with KiS’s commitment to delivering the highest standards of education through a model based on continuous development, the school proudly holds membership in the Learner’s World International Schools (LWIS) Network.
As our academic advisor, the LWIS Network provides ongoing educational and consulting services to KiS, ensuring our programs remain innovative, inclusive, and aligned with the latest global standards.
The network is responsible for designing and developing the American curriculum adopted at our schools and continuously updates it to meet learners’ evolving needs. It also plays a pioneering role in integrating International Baccalaureate (IB) programs into our educational system.
The LWIS Network is managed by School Development Consultants (SDC LLC) in Lebanon and by SDC Offshore outside Lebanon, with projects spanning various regions in the Middle East and Africa.
Academic Accreditation
Khaled International Schools are accredited by Cognia, a global education network established in 1895. Cognia follows a holistic approach to continuous improvement, offering academic accreditation, certification, evaluation, professional development, and tailored improvement services for educational institutions.
